Job Description

We're looking for a part-time Sales Associate to join our NYC store team, approximately 20 hours a week, including weekends. Looking for a place to have fun at work and build our community? The new Sales Associate should be able to work as part of a team and provide an exceptional shopping experience while having a genuine interest in our New York community and aiming to contribute to the teams overall performance and values. Our Sales Associates are responsible for excellent customer service, increasing brand knowledge, executing visual standards and driving performance goals set for our store in cooperation with the Store Manager.

Job Responsibility

To develop and maintain good product knowledge and provide excellent customer service in line with the company’s expectations
An understanding of current products, trends and collections and ensuring that customers are informed and aware
To continuously build and maintain customer relationships
To replenish stock and maintain high standards of merchandise and product presentation
To know your city and the social movements within it
To be aware of daily sales targets, KPI goals and performance against them
Developing sales strategies and driving business growth
Work in and promote a team-oriented environment that can have fun whilst remaining professional

Requirements

Great communication skills with a social personality
Engage customers with genuine enthusiasm and pick up on details that let you tailor your approach to each customer
Work well with others and is a good team player
Open to new things and receptive to constant development
Self-motivated, can work productively and take initiative
Value creativity, diversity and progress, and you thrive in a modern, purpose-driven environment
Passionate about Axel Arigato products and brand is a plus
Prior sales experience in retail is preferred
Sales experience with high-end retail brands is an advantage
Willing to work flexible hours and availability as per business needs
