The primary responsibilities of the Sales Associate position are to maintain outstanding customer service, generate sales, merchandise product, own assigned departments and support the store management team. The Temporary Key Carrier is responsible for the overall direction of store associates and coordination of store operations in the absence of the Store or Assistant Management staff. You will typically be utilized in this capacity to cover for vacation or illness.

Greet all customers and assist in answering questions about merchandise
Use The S.A.L.E.S. process
Complete all company and departmental paperwork accurately
Receive, open, and unpack cartons or crates of merchandise
Replenish stock
Display and maintain merchandise following company plan-o-gram
Maintain on-hand integrity through inventory adjustment reports
Follow nightly maintenance checklist
Maintain familiarity with new products and ad merchandise
Practice loss prevention techniques
Have working knowledge of tools available to operate the store
Follow GLA policies and procedures for all transactions
Engage customer to ensure they receive benefits of being an Ace Rewards member
Communicate effectively and work with colleagues and customers effectively and professionally
Assist with color matching and mixing paint
Assist and/or make recommendations to customers in service areas
Operate cash register
Adhere to all company policies
Participate in periodic team meetings
Continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance
Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends
