Sales Associate - Shipping/Receiving Focus

We are seeking an outgoing, friendly, and helpful team member to welcome and assist customers as well as serve in the role of shipping/receiver. This position operates machinery including forklift in a safe and proper manner. The shipping/receiver must maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for receiving all products entering the store including verifying actual product against packing slips and confirming product integrity as needed. The shipping/receiver must initial and code invoices, log invoices, and distribute to appropriate departments. This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness of receiving area including loading dock and trash areas. Previous hardware and shipping/receiving experience is a plus but not a requirement as we provide extensive training.
