Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated retail professional to sell our womenswear and menswear collection at one of our UK shops.

Job Responsibility

  • Sell womenswear and menswear collection

  • Deal with telephone enquiries

  • Ensure health and safety
  • Abide by company policies
  • Establish good communication

  • Demonstrate flexibility
  • Develop good relationship with department store if in concession

Requirements

  • Acquire collection knowledge through training attendance and regularly engaging with seasonal guides and intranet updates
  • Be aware of monthly individual and shop sales targets and work to achieve this
  • Develop good customer relations through approach and detailed product knowledge
  • Achieve customer loyalty by proactively following through with customer requests
  • Collaborate with colleagues when handling customer enquiries
  • Be receptive to customer requirements always being helpful and courteous
  • Provide accurate information to customers
  • Perform Company till transactions accurately
  • Deal with telephone enquiries and orders efficiently and politely
  • Maintain and promote the Company image by wearing Margaret Howell clothing
  • Maintain stock in the shop and stockroom in size and style order
  • Prepare stock to be transferred in accurate accordance with the docket
  • Monitor stock levels by replenishing sold stock immediately
  • Take part in periodic stock takes
  • Working with colleagues to cover shop floor adequately
  • Monitor the supplies of tissue paper, carrier bags, gift boxes and other necessary stationery
  • Carry out cleaning of fixtures and fittings first thing and throughout day as necessary
  • Take reasonable care for health and safety
  • Abide by Company policies and procedures
  • Establish good communication across all Margaret Howell shops
  • Adhere to re-cycling procedures
  • Demonstrate a flexible approach to the needs of the business
  • If working in a concession, develop a good working relationship with the department store and abide by their rules and regulations
