We are looking for a driven Sales Assistant to support event outreach and booking efforts for promotional sampling campaigns in Glastonbury, Connecticut. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is well suited for someone who enjoys connecting with prospective venues, staying organized, and keeping fast-moving projects on track. The person in this role will help expand event visibility by identifying strong activation opportunities, coordinating updates with internal partners, and contributing to weekly performance goals.
Job Responsibility:
Identify and evaluate prospective on-site event venues that match campaign objectives and audience fit
Conduct outreach to secure bookings for promotional beverage sampling activations and strengthen event participation
Share confirmed activation details promptly with the events manager to ensure accurate real-time visibility
Partner closely with internal teams to coordinate priorities, provide status updates, and support execution against weekly targets
Maintain organized records of outreach activity, booked events, and follow-up steps throughout the sales process
Represent the brand professionally when communicating with venues and contacts to build positive relationships
Use Microsoft Office tools to manage schedules, track progress, and prepare routine updates
Learn and work within company systems as needed to support event booking and reporting activities.
Requirements:
Experience in sales, inside sales, direct sales, outbound outreach, or a related client-facing role
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently
Self-motivated approach and comfort working in an office-based environment
Demonstrated ability to work toward goals and consistently follow through on performance expectations
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams
Confidence researching prospects and engaging potential event locations by phone, email, or other outreach methods.
