Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and adaptable Sales Assistant to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This Contract-to-permanent position offers the opportunity to work closely with the owner to support sales, marketing, and daily business operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to take on diverse responsibilities while delivering exceptional client service.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct research on potential clients and initiate outreach through cold calls and follow-ups
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and business growth
  • Manage the owner's calendar, coordinate appointments, and oversee scheduling needs
  • Support sales efforts by managing leads, tracking pipelines, and preparing presentations
  • Handle customer interactions in the showroom, providing information about products and services and scheduling meetings
  • Coordinate project timelines and deliverables with suppliers and contractors for construction and custom builds
  • Assist in project management tasks related to design and construction projects
  • Develop and implement marketing initiatives to expand brand presence in new markets
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all clients, ensuring a positive experience
  • Adapt to changing priorities and tasks while maintaining a high level of productivity

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales support, administrative roles, or client-facing positions
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to engage professionally with clients
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative

Nice to have:

  • Prior experience in project management, preferably within construction or design, is a plus
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies and social media tools is preferred
