We are looking for a detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support customer return activity and provide dependable service for product-related inquiries in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a Contract position suited for someone who can balance customer communication, order support, and administrative accuracy in a fast-paced sales environment. The ideal candidate will help ensure returns, exchanges, and warranty matters are handled efficiently while maintaining strong coordination with internal teams and external partners.
Job Responsibility
Manage return, exchange, and warranty requests with a high level of accuracy and within expected service timelines
Review authorization details and supporting documents for returned merchandise, then update order information in company records
Provide clear status updates to customers, dealers, and internal departments regarding return progress, policies, and expected resolution dates
Partner with warehouse, shipping, and inventory teams to monitor the movement and receipt of returned motorcycle parts, accessories, and related items
Support the sales function by assisting with order-related questions, customer account maintenance, and follow-up tied to return cases
Maintain organized documentation for credits, replacements, returned goods, and other related transactions
Investigate mismatched or incomplete return items and elevate concerns when exceptions require additional review
Contribute to reporting efforts by tracking return volume, recurring issues, and customer feedback to support process improvement
Follow established company guidelines, service expectations, and return procedures in all daily activities
Requirements
Experience supporting sales operations, customer service, or return processing in a fast-paced business environment
Working knowledge of inside sales, direct sales, and general sales support practices
Ability to manage inbound and outbound communication professionally with customers and business partners
Strong attention to detail when reviewing documentation, updating records, and handling transaction-related information
Comfortable coordinating with cross-functional teams such as shipping, warehouse, inventory, and sales
Proficiency with order tracking systems, customer account updates, and basic reporting tasks
Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and escalate issues appropriately
