IKEA Bristol are looking to welcome Sales Assistants to their sales team! Join our team as a Sales Assistant and be the welcoming face that helps customers find exactly what they need! This is a busy role perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives during busy shifts, and takes pride in delivering reliable customer service. You'll play a key part in creating a welcoming shopping experience, offering product advice, and keeping the store looking its best. Job Responsibility:

  • Your priority is the customer experience, focusing on enhancing sales and ensuring stock availability while maintaining an organised, tidy shopping environment and preparing for the next day's delivery
  • Provide a memorable shopping experience - by approaching the customer to identify their needs, advise them on ideal solutions for their life at home and improve their shopping experience. Bring your personality to work
  • Manual handling and heavy lifting of various stock safety
  • Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers

Requirements:

  • Previous experience preferred but not essential, all you will need is the motivation to make things happen in a busy retail setting
  • You are computer literate and able to work with technology
  • Approachable to support the customers
  • Ability to prioritise and organise your workload swiftly and with attention to detail
  • Motivated to take initiative and make sound decisions that benefit customers and the business
