We are looking for a meticulous and organized Sales Assistant to join our team in Dayton, Ohio. This is a contract position where you will play a pivotal role in supporting sales operations and ensuring smooth order processing. Job Responsibility:
Process and enter customer orders accurately using a Windows-based system
Manage international orders, ensuring compliance with required procedures
Verify and confirm daily orders, typically ranging from 20 to 50, by reviewing dates and other details
Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize data and generate reports
Address backlog issues efficiently, ensuring timely completion of tasks
Leverage Cyber Query for data management and reporting needs
Maintain attentive and respectful interactions with customers, including railway clients, in challenging scenarios
Handle a variety of administrative tasks to support sales functions effectively
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless workflow and communication
Requirements:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Experience in order entry and data management
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle a high volume of tasks without compromising accuracy
Effective communication skills, including the ability to work with diverse customer personalities
Previous experience in customer service or sales support roles
Familiarity with generating reports and managing data using advanced tools
Adaptable and capable of thriving in busy work environments
