The Sales Assistant assists in the creation of all Front of House reports for upcoming events. In addition, the Sales Assistant will constantly monitor the guests during their stay in the Wedding Suite and provides them with any ordered food or beverages at their scheduled time leading up to their scheduled event. In addition, they will work to accommodate any special requests of the patrons with urgency.
Job Responsibility:
Assists in the creation of all Front of House reports for upcoming events
Constantly monitor the guests during their stay in the Wedding Suite and provides them with any ordered food or beverages at their scheduled time leading up to their scheduled event
Work to accommodate any special requests of the patrons with urgency
Constant communication with Management to ensure tasks are being completed in a timely fashion
Answer incoming client calls responding to informational requests, and taking messages and scheduling visits/tours for the Events Manager, Events Coordinator and other Management
Greets incoming clients arriving for visits/tours and attend to their initial comfort and welcoming
May spend time entertaining guests prior to visits/tours answering questions and building a rapport on behalf of the venue
File and maintain organized Client Agreement folders
Assemble sales packages and other materials for ongoing sales appointments and planning
Assist in the preparation, set-up and execution of events
Work to resolve any guest complaints with urgency
Administrative support to management and Events Coordinator
Serve food and/or beverages to guests prior to the Head Servers’ arrival
prepare and serve specialty dishes at tables as required
Requirements:
Must be professional, polite, and reliable
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office to make FOH Documents ie. Menu Cards, Q-Cards, Passing Tray Signs, Signature Cocktail Signs, and Station Signs
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length
Must be able to exert well-paced mobility in limited space
Must have the ability to bend, squat and lift up to 50 lbs., including, but not limited to, lifting trays of food or food items on a regular and continuing basis
Understand and respond to employee and guest verbal requests and visual cues in a loud and extremely busy environment
Follow Food Safety, Health Department, and ServeSafe standards
Maintain personal hygiene and professional dress code to comply with Food Division and Health Department standards
Adhere to company policy and State and Federal regulations regarding service of alcohol, including taking all steps necessary to ensure the proper age of all persons consuming alcohol served on premises and refusing to serve any person who appears to be intoxicated
