In this role, you’ll play a vital role in turning project interest into opportunity by managing quotes, orders, samples, and follow‑ups with precision and care. Job Responsibility:
Lead to Order – Turning Interest into Opportunity: Support project inquiries submitted through our CRM and website, ensuring every opportunity is captured and followed up on
Confirm receipt of samples and proactively ensure client expectations and product needs are met
Convert project inquiries into accurate sales quotes within our order management system
Follow up on open quotes, expiring reservations, backorders, and cutting-for-approval requests
Assist with follow-up on web-based sample orders
Enter sales quotes and orders accurately into the system
Perform price checks and inventory availability reviews to support the sales process
Order to Completion – Ensuring a Smooth Finish: Process quote and order payments with accuracy and care
Track order status and proactively communicate updates
Partner with Supply Chain to ensure inventory is properly allocated
Support claims and issue resolution by completing required documentation and collaborating with our Customer Experience team
Operational & Administrative Support: Coordinate sales events such as Lunch & Learns, tabletops, and VIP client dinners in partnership with Outside Sales
Maintain and update client account details, including contact information and account notes
Support Outside Sales by logging and tracking activities in the CRM (appointments, calls, emails, and follow-ups)
Requirements:
Must currently reside in Nassau County, New York with the ability to support local sales territory
1+ year of experience in sales support, retail sales, sales development, telesales, or a customer‑facing sales environment
Strong customer‑first mindset with the ability to manage multiple client relationships
High attention to detail and accuracy in order entry, quoting, pricing, and account management
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and follow through in a fast‑paced sales environment
Comfortable working independently to manage orders and resolve fulfillment issues by collaborating cross‑functionally
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence engaging creative professionals
Ability to quickly learn, navigate, and work efficiently across multiple business systems, including ERP and CRM platforms
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams
What we offer:
Current base salary ranges from $55,000 to $65,000 (annually), based on previous experience
