We are looking for a motivated Sales Assistant to support our sales team in Oxon Hill, Maryland. This is a Contract position where you will play a key role in facilitating successful sales operations and maintaining excellent customer relationships. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility:
Assist the sales team in managing daily activities and ensuring smooth operations
Communicate with clients to address inquiries and provide accurate information about products or services
Support inbound and outbound sales efforts by coordinating leads and follow-ups
Maintain detailed records of sales transactions and client interactions
Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for achieving sales targets
Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and preparing reports
Monitor sales performance metrics and provide updates to the management team
Identify opportunities for process improvement within sales workflows
Contribute to the creation of sales presentations and promotional materials
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during all sales activities
Requirements:
Previous experience in a sales or administrative support role
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Familiarity with inside sales and direct sales practices
Ability to manage inbound and outbound sales processes effectively
Proficiency in using sales-related software and tools
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling sales data
Capability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
