Job Description

The Sales Area Manager is responsible for commercial development within the North-East Italy territory, with the goal of growing market share, volumes, and profitability across the Harvest Equipment product lines. The role reports to the Harvesting Sales Manager and works closely with the dealer network and end customers active in the area, which covers key agricultural regions including Veneto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Trentino-Alto Adige, Emilia-Romagna and part of Toscana.

Job Responsibility

  • Achieve assigned commercial targets in terms of volumes, market share, and margins
  • Define, negotiate, and monitor annual Business Plans with dealers
  • Build effective Sales Plans with dealers
  • Develop local Marketing Plans including promotional events, field demonstrations, open days, factory visits, and product presentations
  • Monitor dealer financial results, business management, and capital structure
  • Manage wholesale credit risk
  • Support dealers in use of company commercial tools
  • Identify new network development opportunities
  • Analyze market potential, trends, and competitor activity
  • Provide central functions with inputs on pricing, commercial risks, and opportunities
  • Coordinate with central market functions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in similar commercial roles, preferably in agricultural machinery
  • Knowledge of sales and negotiation techniques within structured distribution networks
  • Familiarity with key commercial software platforms (e.g. CRM, Sales App, Equipment)
  • Good command of English (required)
  • Italian is the daily working language.

Agricultural background and/or passion for agricultural mechanization.
