Goal of function: As a Sales Application Specialist, you ensure customers fully utilize the products and services purchased, receiving the benefits promised in the sales process, while maintaining strong technical relationships and serving as a key communication link between customers, sales teams, and the organization.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver product demos and answer advanced product questions
  • Support sales with technical expertise and product knowledge
  • Onboard customers and explain advanced or customized features
  • Handle escalated customer issues and approvals
  • Conduct regular customer check-ins and track common issues
  • Drive renewals and identify commercial opportunities
  • Spot and pursue upsell and cross-sell potential
  • Manage customer communication, resolve queries, and support territory sales
  • Build relationships with potential customers and key decision-makers
  • Identify customer needs and recommend tailored solutions
  • Match products/services to needs and support strategic account initiatives
  • Advocate for customer needs internally and share market insights
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and support hybrid sales campaigns

Requirements

  • Academic degree or equivalent diploma
  • 3+ years of experience in application support
  • 3+ years of sales experience (preferred, not mandatory)
  • Background as a nurse or equivalent (PD/HD preferred)
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Strong clinical and technical expertise with deep dialysis/healthcare product knowledge
  • Excellent communication and customer‑focused mindset
  • Proficient with digital tools and communication systems, including Microsoft Office, SAP, Lotus Notes
  • Knowledgeable in e‑health basics, data security, and modern digital practices
  • Open to travel across the BeNeLux region and internationally
