A sales and sustainability Co‑worker at IKEA manages the recycling operations by handling returns, damaged goods, and supporting IKEA’s circular goals by ensuring products and materials are reused, recycled, or disposed of responsibly.
Job Responsibility:
Re-purpose, present and sell IKEA products with pride to create the best customer experience and results for the business
Support customers purchasing products
Work closely with different functions in the unit to support range changes
Ensure product quality of displayed furniture is maintained
Use initiative to intervene when necessary
Support, execute and follow product quality guidelines for recalled, returned and ex-display stock
Take responsibility to ensure furniture is built correctly and secured in line with health & safety/manual handling practices
Requirements:
Pro-active approach to waste management and sustainability
Love multi-tasking and a passion for giving things a new life
Strong attention to detail and prioritise quality for the customer
Good communication and customer service skills
Motivated and enjoy working in a physically demanding role
Safe manual handling of IKEA products and furniture
