We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales & Marketing Manager to join the team at Aviva Stadium, one of Ireland’s most iconic venues. This role is responsible for driving new business opportunities and maximising non-match day venue sales, positioning the stadium as a leading destination for meetings, conferences, and events.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and lead the Sales & Events Department at Aviva Stadium
Set and manage monthly KPIs and sales targets for the team
Oversee and manage all marketing activities and associated budgets
Identify and target new market segments to drive venue revenue
Research leads and drive the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing
Develop and grow relationships with existing and potential clients
Implement effective sales strategies and business development plans
Represent the venue at networking events, trade shows, and client events
Manage sales reporting, revenue tracking, and departmental budgets
Work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure successful event delivery
Maintain strong communication with all departments across the venue
Requirements:
Extensive experience within the hospitality industry (venue, hotel, or agency environment)
Experience in a management role
Strong knowledge of the MICE and business tourism industry
Proven track record of developing new business and driving revenue growth
Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of market trends
Highly organised with excellent planning and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Full clean driving licence
Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally when required
Nice to have:
Experience using Delphi is desirable but not essential
Degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related discipline is advantageous
