Job Description:

Sales & Marketing Director – Automotive Parts. You’ll be joining a UK manufacturer of premium automotive parts and systems, recognised for its quality, engineering expertise, and long-term partnerships with major automotive and commercial vehicle customers. As Sales & Marketing Director, you’ll lead the commercial function and shape the company’s growth strategy across both the UK and international markets. Your focus will be on developing business with OEM and Tier 1 customers, managing key programs, and guiding the sales and marketing team to deliver ambitious but achievable growth targets.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the sales and marketing function across OEM and Tier 1 customer accounts
Develop and execute commercial strategy aligned with company growth objectives
Manage and grow key OEM relationships (truck, trailer, bus, and specialist vehicle manufacturers)
Oversee marketing and brand development across the business
Work closely with engineering and operations to support technical project delivery
Analyse market trends, identify new opportunities, and guide pricing and margin strategy
Represent the business at trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events

Requirements:

Proven experience selling to OEMs or Tier 1 vehicle manufacturers (essential)
Deep understanding of long-cycle, specification-based technical sales
Strong leadership skills with experience developing high-performing commercial teams
A mix of strategic vision and hands-on commercial delivery
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across engineering, marketing, and operations
