In this role, you will be responsible for achieving the commercial and marketing objectives agreed with the Head of Commercial Operations for the the Belgian, Dutch and Luxembourg markets. This is a permanent, full-time position based in our offices in Belgium, which requires regular business travel to the regions to be covered.   • Create and manage sales and marketing budgets, presenting quarterly business reviews to update on performance, including, P&L, forecasts, challenges/solutions, successes/best practice to achieve budget and maintain bottom line

  • Work with internal departments to stay ahead of, health care changes, law changes, reimbursement changes for the target markets
  • Work with the team to monitor market data (consumer and competitive) to present a comprehensive picture to the leadership team
  • Monitor the accuracy and efficiency of sales reports, KPIs (SFDC, PowerBi) to drive performance
  • Together with the team analyse market information and communicate to the team keepings sales and marketing teams up to date on the latest industry best practices
  • Seek out opportunities that further the sales initiatives
  • Assist the sales and marketing teams in the management and understanding of bottlenecks, inconsistencies, and impediments in processes in order to enable constant sales process and strategy improvement

  • Highly collaborative working with the wider commercial team to find solutions to market challenges and share best practice to ensure the whole business benefits
  • Work closely with all departments in order to optimize the effectiveness of the business’s sales efforts at all fronts. Also working with the finance department in formulating and deciding sales team budgetary allocations for optimal functioning and performance
  • Collaborate with HR and Medical for the training of sales and marketing functions in order to ensure optimal performance of the sales and marketing teams
  • Work with HR in providing the recruitment criteria for sales and marketing team positions in order to guarantee proper execution of duties in those positions and, therefore, the entire sales department

Requirements

  • Master's degree in commerce, marketing, engineering or scientific background with equivalent professional experience
  • At least 7-10 years working experience in sales and marketing within the medical environment to a managerial position
  • Excellent knowledge of the healthcare sector (key players, regulatory landscape, products, competitors...), particularly in the field of wound and skin care, in the markets to be managed
  • Exceptional leadership skills: demonstrate an ability to motivate and influence a large team to achieve a common goal and objective, enjoy planning, executing and winning as a team
  • Strong communication skills required to cascade the sales strategy from management to sales and marketing teams and make high quality presentations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Good data management and analytical skills to compile and create sales & marketing reports
  • Proficiency in budget management and cost control within the context of corporate strategy and business objectives
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude with colleagues and teams and openly share ideas and experiences with peers
  • Be a native speaker of Dutch with fluency, both written and spoken, in English
