We’re Breedon, the UK and Ireland’s largest independent construction materials group, and we’re on the lookout for a motivated Sales and Customer Service Agent to join our Special Aggregates team. Based at our Breedon Quarry offices, you’ll be part of a friendly and dynamic team that supports a nationwide customer base with market-leading decorative aggregate and self-binding gravel products. At Breedon, we believe in removing unnecessary red tape. That means you’ll have the autonomy to engage directly with customers, understand their needs, and build real relationships that make a material difference.

Job Responsibility

  • Respond to inbound customer enquiries
  • Price, chase, and win orders
  • Process incoming orders, including through our new Ecommerce platform
  • Track orders and liaise with internal teams from quote through to delivery
  • Provide technical support to ensure the right products reach the right customers
  • Work with transport and operations to coordinate smooth, on-time deliveries

Requirements

  • Strong telephone sales background
  • Experience in customer service
  • Strong communication and rapport-building skills
  • A proactive and organised approach
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confidence using email and phone as primary tools
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
  • Experience in the building materials industry is a bonus—but not essential
