We give you the high charge of integrating customer business plans, providing internal and external promotional analysis, leveraging analytical data/insights and developing portfolio recommendations to achieve overall sales, market share and profit objectives. You’ll be supported by a larger customer facing team in our Purina Sales department. Job Responsibility

  • Develops 4P Purina portfolio recommendations to drive growth within the assigned business unit
  • Provides business overview and analysis to customer teams on progress against market and Joint Business Planning (JBP) objectives
  • Assess competitive market activity and provide analytics around risks/opportunities to the Purina portfolio
  • Partner with Finance to deliver promotional recommendations on the Purina portfolio to maximize market impact
  • Provide data and recommendations around 4P strategy for new distribution (shelf recommendation, promotion strategy, pricing) using market data
  • Provide insights and analytics to support JBP development objectives and initiatives
  • Attend monthly retail team meetings to provide business updates, opportunities, or promotional/product mix improvements and key quarter priorities
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and communication for retail initiatives

Requirements

Bachelor's degree +1 year experience working with retail/sales data or within a CPG environment OR High School diploma +4 years experience in category development, sales or marketing analytics

Nice to have

Previous experience with Nielsen/IRI/Power BI, or RSI syndicated data
