We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Administrative Assistant to support a dynamic sales team in Long Beach. This role is critical to ensuring efficient day-to-day operations for the sales department, maintaining strong customer relationships, and supporting sales growth through exceptional administrative and organizational skills. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to outstanding service and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced sales environment.
Job Responsibility:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the sales team, including preparing proposals, contracts, quotes, and customer documentation
Process sales orders, schedule deliveries, and track sales activity in the CRM and inventory systems
Act as a first point of contact for customers, responding promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and in person
Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and reports
prepare regular sales and pipeline updates for management review
Coordinate and schedule sales meetings, client appointments, and follow-ups
Assist in organizing sales events, trade shows, and customer appreciation initiatives
Support the onboarding of new sales clients, including document collection, data entry, and coordination with internal departments (finance, service, logistics)
Monitor and reorder sales materials, promotional items, and office supplies
Perform other administrative duties as assigned to ensure smooth sales operations
Requirements:
Previous experience in a sales administrative or sales support role preferred, ideally within automotive or related industries
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
