We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Sales Account Manager to join a busy and collaborative team on a 12-month fixed term basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring high levels of service delivery and supporting business growth. You will build strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and coordinate internal teams to meet customer expectations effectively.
Job Responsibility
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customer accounts
Manage daily account activity to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Ensure customer requirements are understood and consistently met
Monitor and manage stock commitments with customers, ensuring timely uptake
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver a high standard of service
Participate in regular sales meetings and customer business reviews
Work closely with supply chain teams to review forecasts and support delivery targets
Take ownership of account performance and identify opportunities for growth
Escalate issues or concerns in a timely and appropriate manner
Work towards agreed targets and performance measures
Requirements
Previous experience in a sales, account management, or customer-focused role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving ability
Good numeracy and literacy skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
