We’re looking for a driven and personable Sales Account Manager to help us grow our genomic services business.
Job Responsibility:
Sales Strategy & Execution: Create and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed your goals, helping us expand our customer base in the genomics field
Building Relationships: Work with key people in healthcare, academic, and research sectors to create lasting relationships and help them see the value in our genomic services
Lead Generation & Outreach: Use your experience in both sales and genomics to connect with potential customers, whether that’s through cold calls, warm outreach, or creative new strategies
Sales Process: Help guide customers through the entire sales process—from preparing proposals, negotiating deals, to closing sales and making sure everything runs smoothly from quote to delivery
Managing Pipeline & Forecasts: Keep track of your sales opportunities and goals, updating forecasts and providing regular updates on progress
Team Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and business teams to align on campaigns and initiatives that support sales growth and business objectives
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or Biomedical engineering (Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or similar discipline). Technical understanding of next generation sequencing is preferred
At least 4 years’ sales experience with a proven ability to hit goals and drive results
Experience in genomics or life sciences is key to success
Some familiarity with genomic services—genomics technology, research applications, or diagnostics
Strong communication and negotiation skills—someone who builds connections and enjoys working with others to make deals happen
Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a passion for both achieving revenue goals and cutting-edge genomic solutions
Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team to meet objectives
