Job Description

Under general supervision, the Sales Account Manager focuses on the effective execution of our value proposition by adding new business associated with our Core National Account. This position will have extensive knowledge of the Automotive Service Center, Independent Workshop and Retail & Wholesales channels and will execute a selling platform, marketing programs, and account specific promotions that deliver strategic growth for the Valvoline. Collaboration with account management, training, and other business resources are critical to the success of this role as it relates to onboarding and delivering a tremendous customer experience. Success will be determined through the accelerated growth of new rooftops, delivering gross profit, and driving volume.

Job Responsibility

  • Achieve monthly sales target by gaining new customers in independent workshop category and growing sales volume with the existing customers in the assigned territory
  • Develop weekly and monthly route planning and call report submission to the sales executive
  • Daily visit customer at shop and collect order
  • Execution of marketing activities with the independent workshop customers as per company strategy
  • Ensure collection with customers and negotiate collection issues as they arise

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field
  • 2-3 years of experience in Sales
  • New graduate could be considered if he/she could be able to demonstrate evidence of related extra-curricular activities or part time job during study
  • Passionate, active, customer-focused, result-oriented, learning mindset, team-player
  • Able to drive with valid driving license
  • Able to travel across provinces
  • Experience in selling automotive spare part or experience selling to IWS channel is a plus
  • Ability to communicate in English is a plus
  • Computer literacy i.e. MS Office including Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook

Nice to have

  • Strong Lubricant Knowledge and Industry will be highly considered
  • Experiences in Tire or Automotive will be advantaged
  • Candidates currently residing in the area will be given preference
