Sales Account Manager – Medication Delivery Solutions

Job Description

Build a strong career in medical technology while working closely with hospitals across Eastern Germany. In this role, you’ll combine clinical understanding with commercial strategy, helping healthcare providers implement solutions that improve medication safety and patient care. You’ll take ownership of your territory, develop long-term customer relationships, and lead projects from the first conversation through to full clinical implementation. You’ll drive the growth of your portfolio, focusing mainly on Vascular Access (catheters, Ultrasound System, portneedles) and skin antisepsis solutions. Your work will combine clinical expertise, technical understanding and commercial sales, helping hospitals adopt new technologies that improve patient safety.

Job Responsibility

  • Build strong relationships with physicians, nurses and procurement a hospital environment
  • Lead the sales process from acquisition through implementation
  • Deliver product training, clinical support and onboarding for hospital teams
  • Support product trials, evaluations and operating theatre procedures
  • Establish and maintain a network of regional and national key opinion leaders
  • Participate in and help organise workshops, conferences and industry events

Requirements

  • A scientific or commercial qualification with certification as a pharmaceutical representative (§75 AMG), ideally with a nursing background
  • Or a paramedic / emergency medical services qualification with several years of relevant professional experience
  • Ideally 2+ years of experience selling medical technology or diagnostic solutions
  • Confidence presenting to clinical teams and larger professional groups
  • Experience supporting clinical applications or medical training
  • Strong relationship-building skills across multiple stakeholder levels
  • Willingness to travel around 80% within your territory, including some overnight stays
  • Fluent German and good English
