Job Description:

Six-Month Fixed Term Contract. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed GP to work within a varied team of health professionals including Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Physician Associates, Clinical Pharmacists and Care Co-coordinators. GP-led, patient centred surgery with emphasis on innovation and nurturing talent.

Job Responsibility:

  • Telephone triage and face to face appointments
  • Share of on-call
  • Share of admin
  • Attendance at clinical meetings
  • Home visit (if indicated & paramedic home-visiting team unable to complete)
  • Blood Results
  • EPS's
  • GP Paperwork (including non NHS work)
  • Share of on-call duties
  • Involvement in surgery quality improvement, educational meetings and clinical governance including QOF achievement
  • Clinical Supervision of trainees and nurses

Requirements:

  • Registered with the GMC
  • Completed a specialist training course in General Practice
  • Experience with EMIS would be advantageous
  • Experience of working in a GP practice
  • Current UK professional registration

  • Experience with EMIS
  • Experience of working in a GP practice
