Job Description

Join our team as a Sage People Configuration Specialist in a part-time, 6-month engagement (3 days per week), where you will focus on configuring and optimizing the Sage People system within the Salesforce platform to meet business and service provider requirements. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in Sage People and Salesforce administration who thrives on working with structured documentation, detailed system configuration, and ensuring high-quality setup aligned with vendor guidelines. You will collaborate closely with our service provider, internal IT team, and business stakeholders. You will not be working alone – support from fellow IT colleagues (integration, security, operations) will be available whenever needed.

Job Responsibility

  • Collaborate with the service provider and internal business teams to understand configuration guidelines and system requirements
  • Configure and maintain Sage People modules and features in alignment with business needs and Sage People documentation
  • Ensure system settings, workflows, permissions and profiles are configured accurately and according to company standards in cooperation with IT operations and IT security departments
  • Finalize Enhanced objectives module and perform a cleanup of work that is already started for this module
  • Review and validate configuration changes in sandbox environments before release to production
  • Support data related activities such as mass data uploads (importing), data mapping, validation and data quality checks within the system
  • Cooperate with integration specialists when configuration changes impact system interfaces or data exchanges
  • Document configurations, setup decisions, and process changes clearly for internal reference
  • Troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues and serve as a primary contact for configuration related questions
  • Train and support end-users and collaborate with them to identify future configuration needs or adjustments
  • Stay updated on Sage People releases, platform updates and new features, assessing their impact on existing configurations in cooperation with IT operations and business teams
  • Regular demos to business stakeholders regarding deliveries

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Sage People configuration (experience with Salesforce based HR systems is highly preferred)
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce platform fundamentals (system’s configuration level knowledge preferred over development-heavy background)
  • Experience working with SaaS system configuration and vendor documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and structured working approach
  • Ability to interpret external service provider guidelines and implement configurations precisely
  • Experience documenting system setup, configuration logic and process design
  • Good communication skills to liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Upper-Intermediate English level for comfortable communication

Nice to have

Salesforce Administrator certification (or similar) is considered a plus

What we offer

  • Ownership – we trust that you will do the right things to deliver maximum impact
  • Transparency – we say what we think and every voice is heard and respected, even when our opinions differ
  • Service – whether it’s for our customers or teammates, we always support each other
  • No bureaucracy, no micromanagement
  • Flexible working schedule – you plan your working day based on your tasks and meetings
