Safety & Security Coworker

• Ensure a safe and secure environment for customers and co-workers
• follow and apply IKEA safety and security procedures
• respond to Safety and Security needs promptly
• perform First Aid or emergency/security procedures as required
• open and close the store as scheduled
• perform operational and safety audits
• conduct Safety and Security investigations and follow up on incident reports
• assume responsibility for other tasks and projects

• At least 1 years’ work experience in Loss Prevention or a similar field
• valid provincial security license, CPR and Basic First Aid certification preferred
• detail focused and approachable
• strong sense of responsibility
• thorough and timely in investigations and reports
• ability to work under pressure
• professionalism in handling sensitive investigations
• basic knowledge of local/federal laws and court procedures
• availability to work weekends and weekdays between 7AM and 10PM
