As a Safety and Security Ambassador, you will be the primary point of contact for all safety, security and emergency situations on site. Acting as both a highly visible front-of-house representative and a critical operational responder, you will deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring the highest standards of safety, security and compliance. You will play a vital role in emergency response, first aid provision, life safety systems, and deputising for the Site Manager during incidents.
Job Responsibility:
Act as the primary on-site contact for safety, security and emergency incidents, including first aid response, alarm activations and evacuations
Deliver exceptional front-of-house and reception services, meeting and greeting visitors while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment
Conduct regular and ad-hoc safety, security and fire audits, proactively identifying and reporting risks or concerns
Lead initial responses and investigations for life safety alarms, fire activations and emergency evacuations
Manage and monitor access control systems, CCTV, visitor credentials, keys and security equipment
Carry out internal and external patrols, security screenings and contractor compliance checks
Deputise for the Site Manager during emergencies and business-critical incidents, ensuring continuity of operations
Maintain accurate security, safety and incident documentation in line with compliance and data protection requirements
Requirements:
Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (must be worn and visible on duty)
First Aid at Work certification with confidence in responding to medical incidents
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage across all levels
Proven experience delivering high-quality customer service in a front-of-house or security environment
Professional appearance, positive attitude and ability to remain calm under pressure
Experience using access control systems, alarms and security technology
Physically capable of standing for extended periods and undertaking occasional physical tasks
Strong understanding of health & safety, fire safety and emergency response procedures
Nice to have:
Experience working in a corporate, high-profile or regulated environment
Fire Marshal or additional emergency response training
CCTV licence
Experience mentoring or supporting new team members
