Job Description:

As a Safety & Risk Prevention, you will evaluate and analyze work environments, implementing prevention programs and Health & Safety procedures to ensure safe working conditions at Desigual POS. You will prevent occupational risks and ensure compliance with legislation and Desigual’s security policies to protect people, facilities, and company assets. You’ll also manage asset loss through fraud cases and process monitoring.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan and perform workplace risk assessments
  • Develop and implement self-protection and emergency plans
  • Investigate labor accidents and apply corrective measures
  • Define and coordinate training on occupational risk prevention (Safety, Hygiene, Ergonomics, Emergency)
  • Collaborate on training delivery and ensure compliance with legal standards
  • Coordinate with External Prevention Services
  • Supervise cases of workplace violence and ensure appropriate actions are taken
  • Visit international POS to conduct audits and ensure compliance with legislation and internal criteria
  • Provide daily support on prevention matters (EPIs, first aid kits, inspections, etc.)
  • Prepare and track orders for contracted prevention services
  • Ensure safety systems (CCTV, anti-theft, etc.) function correctly and request maintenance when needed
  • Conduct audits and training to ensure policy compliance and promote safety awareness

Requirements:

  • A degree in labour relations, work sciences, law, engineering or equivalent
  • LRP master (safety at work, industrial hygiene, psycho-sociology and ergonomics)
  • Specific knowledge of safety & prevention legislation, as well as in security industry (background)
  • Core competences: teamwork, adaptation to change and continuous learning
  • Previous experience in a similar position (min 2 years)
  • Mandatory languages: English and Spanish in a fluent level
  • Travelling: 10% of the time, short distances and long distances
