We are currently seeking a diligent and experienced Safety Officer to join our team in Panaji, Goa. In this role, you will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance. Job Responsibility

Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures
Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement necessary corrective actions
Ensure full compliance with local and national safety regulations and internal corporate standards
Lead safety briefings, training sessions, and toolbox meetings for employees and contractors to foster a culture of safety awareness
Oversee the investigation of any workplace incidents or near-misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending preventative measures
Maintain accurate documentation and records related to safety audits, permits, and inspections
Collaborate with management to integrate safety protocols into daily operational workflows
Monitor the availability and proper usage of personal protective equipment (PPE) across the facility

Requirements

1 to 3 years of professional experience in an HSE or Safety Officer role
Thorough knowledge of HSE standards and proven ability to act as an effective Safety Officer
Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate safety protocols clearly to diverse teams

Collect, log and distribute lost and found left by guests or visitors on the property. Perform bag checks of employees leaving property
Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time, go up and down steps and lift 50 pounds
