As Security Manager, you will oversee all aspects of corporate security, safety, loss prevention, and emergency preparedness, ensuring the protection of employees, assets, facilities, and information. Working closely with the leadership team, you will supervise daily security operations, maintain regulatory compliance, and contribute to creating a safe, efficient, and resilient workplace environment.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and oversee external security contractors, ensuring compliance, professionalism, and a collaborative relationship while avoiding any risk of unlawful interposition
Supervise and coordinate daily security activities related to access control, surveillance, internal operations, and incident handling
Develop, implement, and maintain emergency response, crisis management, and business continuity procedures
Ensure compliance with national laws, workplace safety regulations, and internal corporate standards
Maintain effective relationships with public authorities, emergency services, and third‑party partners
Conduct risk assessments, facility checks, and regular inspections to identify vulnerabilities and propose corrective actions
Review and analyse incident reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement
Support company‑wide security awareness initiatives and onboarding programs for new hires
Organize and deliver mandatory safety and security training in accordance with Italian regulatory requirements
Uphold the highest levels of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion when managing sensitive information
Collaborate with leadership to foster a culture of prevention, responsibility, and operational excellence
Requirements:
Degree in Security Management, Law Enforcement, Risk Management, or a related discipline
Solid knowledge of Italian security regulations, fire safety codes, and emergency procedures
Valid qualification enabling the role of safety/security trainer, in line with applicable Italian law
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in corporate, industrial, or large‑facility security management, with proven supervisory responsibilities
Experience in structured environments where high standards of compliance, confidentiality, and reliability are essential
Strong leadership, risk‑assessment, and problem‑solving abilities, with the capacity to remain effective under pressure
High integrity, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to manage confidential information responsibly
Proficiency with MS Office, access control systems, surveillance technologies, and incident management tools
Flexibility to work irregular shifts as needed, including evenings, weekends, or during crisis situations
Fluency in English and Italian and legal permission to work in Italy
