As a Safety Manager of NHSc International, you will lead and manage the safety and initiatives for Nestlé Health Science international. Job Responsibility:

  • Developing and implementing global safety initiatives
  • Ensuring compliance with international safety regulations and standards
  • Conducting safety audits and inspections
  • Providing safety training and competences building
  • Investigating and reporting on safety incidents
  • Collaborating with regional and local safety managers to improve safety performance
  • Inspire Change: Create a compelling understanding of the Nestlé S&H values and inspire stakeholders to excel in compliance & continuous improvement, leveraging NCE Practices. Promote a behavioural approach to S&H, based on the Nestlé Leadership Framework
  • Create Strategy: Contribute to and Drive Business Results as a member of CO-S&H Team. Contribute to design guidelines, methods, tools and standards related to the overall S&H Function. Identify S&H priorities, current & future challenges, and opportunities for change within the Zone and Market level. Collaborate on a holistic strategy and implementation plan, aligned with Group priorities & objectives, and with the overall CO-S&H OMP.Guide the implementation and communication of the strategy across the Zone
  • Management Systems: Lead the establishment & maintenance of NMS for Q & SHE education and coaching materials for Markets and Certification Bodies (CBs).Establish the Zone SHE Pillar support plan and deploy the SHE Pillar across markets (apply the main roles: methodology, training, coaching). Promote best practice cross-fertilisation within and between markets
  • Develop Capability of Managers: Ensure training and coaching is provided to Market S&H Managers and Leadership Teams to help them take ownership, and lead & manage S&H within their area of responsibility. Provide personal coaching and support to NiZ Management Team, and other senior managers in the Zone
  • Develop S&H Networks: Develop & coordinate S&H networks of professionals, champions, and SMEs on a NiM basis. Develop their functional and leadership competencies and contribute to a robust succession plans for key S&H positions
  • Provide Guidance: Ensure managers receive trusted guidance & support on relevant S&H matters, along the value chain. Identify expertise and good practices from inside and outside Nestlé and communicate them internally (both within the Market and beyond)
  • Provide support: Co-ordinate internal & external resources to ensure delivery of high quality and efficient S&H support. Leverage SHE-PM and other tools to monitor & analyse performance and improve decision making. Identify and support focus sites and Markets, that have a bigger impact on the zone results. Ensure good quality analysis of Major incidents
  • Audit & Review: Ensure compliance is regularly audited and performance assessed, and the results used to drive further improvement. Promote effective communication of successes and learnings, and recognition for strong performers and contributors
  • Engagement: Engage with external stakeholders (eg regulatory bodies, trades unions, NGOs) on S&H topics to build long term, positive relationships. Participate in external forums to benchmark with other companies

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in a safety management role
  • Strong knowledge of international safety regulations and standards
