Job Description:

Safety & Health Consultant responsible for strategic planning and implementation of a fit-for-purpose safety and health framework covering policy development, risk identification, safety monitoring, and employee engagement across APAC region.

Job Responsibility:

Strategic planning and implementation of safety and health framework
Policy and guidelines development
Risk identification and control
Safety and health monitoring
Employee engagement for safety awareness
Ensuring compliance with legislative requirements
Developing and maintaining S&H management framework
Coordinating injury and illness insurance policy review
Managing ergonomic workstation assessment programme
Investigating accidents and making recommendations
Providing guidance on legislative changes
Monitoring safety compliance through workplace audits

Requirements:

4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience
Recognized degree in S&H (e.g. NEBOSH diploma or equivalent qualification)
Chartered membership (e.g. CMIOSH) of IOSH or Graduate membership working towards chartered status
Excellent knowledge of safety and health legislation and risk management practices
Working knowledge of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) matters
Ability to think strategically and be hands-on with day-to-day health and safety matters
Experience implementing and managing multi-regional S&H programmes
Sound knowledge of workstation ergonomics
Excellent interpersonal skills
Effective change leader with strong organisational skills
Resourceful self-starter
Competent user of Microsoft Office applications
