As a Survival Equipment Supervisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be the key figure ensuring all activities are conducted at the highest safety standards, safeguarding every flight and proactively addressing potential issues.
Job Responsibility
Report to the Site Operations Manager (SOM) and lead the team in delivering scheduled maintenance, repairs, and fitting of RAF and company-owned Survival Equipment and Aircrew Assemblies, along with all related tasks
Act as the lead for Survival Equipment investigations, support ground movement of aircraft and flight line operations when required, mentor new starters, and ensure all Survival Equipment is issued and fitted to meet customer requirements
Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including RAF personnel and Babcock employees, to maintain high standards of service and compliance
Requirements
Experience in a similar role at any level (supervisory experience not required)
Mentoring experience in any capacity, not limited to a workplace environment
Completion of RAF Safety Equipment Course
AV-MED certification or equivalent training
