Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Safety Director to join our client's team and lead their safety program to be compliant with OSHA and other regulatory safety standards. You will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing all safety policies and procedures for their office and field employees.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and enforce safety policies
Conduct job site safety inspections and audits
Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local safety regulations
Lead incident investigations
Develop/deliver safety training programs for new hires and continuing education for all employees
Maintain safety records
Liaison with regulatory agencies
Identify safety data trends and areas for improvement

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Management or related field is highly preferred
5 years safety experience in construction
HVAC/Mechanical contracting is highly preferred
OSHA 30 and OSHA 500 are required
CHST/CSP preferred
