EZARC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to support the development, implementation, and oversight of our comprehensive safety programs. This position plays a vital role in reducing workplace hazards, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations, and fostering a strong culture of safety throughout the organization. The Safety Coordinator will work closely with employees and leadership to promote best practices, enhance awareness, and ensure all personnel are equipped to maintain a safe working environment.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and field assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions
Review and verify daily paperwork, including pre-task planning, for accuracy and compliance
Provide safety training, coaching, and resources to employees at all levels to ensure awareness and adherence to company policies
Collaborate with the Safety Manager to investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and develop corrective and preventive measures
Prepare and deliver reports on safety findings, observations, and trends to management
Maintain current knowledge of OSHA regulations, industry standards, and emerging safety practices
Partner with project teams and department leaders to embed safety into daily operations and promote continuous improvement
Serve as a point of contact for safety-related questions, providing guidance and support to employees
Facilitate and document safety training programs to ensure regulatory compliance and employee competency
Requirements:
3–5 years of experience in safety management, preferably in commercial, industrial, or semiconductor construction environments
Certification in safety-related fields (e.g., OSHA 30, OSHA 510, or equivalent) required
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety practices, and industry standards
Proven ability to conduct audits, observations, and employee training effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in computer applications for reporting, data entry, and training
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across departments
