We are looking for a Safety Coordinator to support workplace health and safety efforts at our California location. This position focuses on promoting compliance, reducing risk, and helping build a strong culture of safety across daily operations. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with OSHA practices, workplace inspections, and incident review, along with the ability to communicate safety expectations clearly and effectively.
Job Responsibility
Conduct routine workplace inspections to identify hazards, evaluate risk exposure, and recommend corrective measures
Support compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards through ongoing monitoring and documentation
Lead or assist with safety audits, ensuring findings are tracked and follow-up actions are completed in a timely manner
Investigate workplace incidents, near misses, and injuries to determine root causes and help prevent recurrence
Deliver safety guidance and training to employees to reinforce safe work practices and regulatory awareness
Maintain accurate records related to inspections, incidents, corrective actions, and compliance activities
Partner with supervisors and operational teams to address safety concerns and strengthen preventive programs
Review work areas, equipment, and procedures to help ensure alignment with occupational health and safety requirements
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in a health and safety, occupational safety, or related coordination role
Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and practical application of workplace safety requirements
Experience performing safety audits, site inspections, and compliance reviews
Background in accident investigation, including documentation and root cause analysis
Familiarity with safety standards, hazard recognition, and corrective action planning
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to train and support employees effectively
Organized approach to recordkeeping, reporting, and follow-through on safety initiatives
