Safety & Compliance Coordinator

• Maintain and update workplace safety policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
• Lead safety training sessions and maintain documentation
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions
• Manage safety documentation (e.g., SDS, OSHA 300 logs) and facilitate safety committee meetings
• Promote a proactive safety culture through communication and engagement
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and new-hire orientation
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
• Assist with employee relations, engagement initiatives, and recognition programs
• Provide support on policies, benefits, and procedures
• Track attendance and assist with FMLA, ADA, and other leave programs
• Coordinate performance reviews and disciplinary processes

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in HR, Occupational Safety, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of experience in HR and/or safety coordination, preferably in manufacturing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods and lift up to 15 lbs as needed
