Job Description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of BAE Systems for an experienced Safety, Compliance & Assurance Lead (SCAL) to support their UK Sustainment Operation based at RAF Marham within the Integrated Training Centre (ITC).

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System
  • Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015, AS9100, MTOE, Training Management Plan and DSAT requirements
  • Managing the ITC Safety, Compliance & Assurance Register (SC&AR)
  • Administering the SMS reporting system (PrISM) and associated actions
  • Managing and delivering the internal audit plan
  • Liaising with MOD Quality representatives, external auditors and regulatory bodies
  • Providing training and guidance to staff on quality and compliance procedures
  • Reporting quality system performance to senior management
  • Promoting a strong Safety, Health & Environment culture

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within Aircraft Maintenance, Safety, Quality, Assurance or Compliance in a fast jet or performance-based support environment
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 / AS9100
  • Strong working knowledge of DSAT requirements
  • Strong working knowledge of Safety & Quality Management Systems
  • Strong working knowledge of Maintenance Training Organisation Expositions (MTOE)
  • Qualified Auditor (essential)
  • BPSS with Full SC, UK Eyes Only and Subject to ITAR
