As this is a frontline operational role, there will be a requirement to provide occasional support during evenings and night shifts to ensure visible safety presence and engagement across all areas of the operation. Support the delivery of a consistent & proactive safety culture across all operational areas. You will work alongside some of the finest professionals in the industry, supporting our ambition to become the safest and most reliable airline maintenance organisation in the world. As a Safety Business Partner, you’ll play a visible and active role in supporting our Engineering teams to embed safe behaviours, strengthen operational safety and deliver key safety improvement initiatives across our operation. Put simply, you’ll help support the safety of our Engineers, who in turn keep millions of passengers safe in the air.
Job Responsibility:
Support the delivery of a consistent & proactive safety culture across all operational areas
Work alongside frontline leaders and operational teams to reinforce safety expectations
Support the delivery of the company's safety and environmental initiatives
Help ensure safety is consistently applied in day-to-day operations
Support activities such as safety walks, workplace inspections, investigations, action tracking and operational safety improvement activities
Help identify emerging trends, support local implementation of safety initiatives and promote a positive and proactive safety culture across the Engineering directorate
Requirements:
NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent level 3 qualification (Desirable)
ISEP or equivalent foundational qualification (Desirable)
Working knowledge of relevant health, safety, environmental requirement, ideally in an airport or heavily regulated environment (Essential)
Hold or ability to hold an Airside pass and Airside driving licence (Essential)
Engineering based degree (Desirable)
Membership of a professional body (e.g. IOSH, ISEP) (Desirable)
Nice to have:
Experience in engineering or aviation
NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent level 3 qualification
ISEP or equivalent foundational qualification
Engineering based degree
