As a Safety Administrator within our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) function, this role will you will work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business coordinating and administering WHS tasks, processes and communications to lift Safety capability and embed consistent safety practices across the business to assist in the creation of a safe, healthy workplace.
Job Responsibility
Manage safety reporting systems, dashboards, and weekly/monthly performance reports to support data-driven decision-making
Maintain and update HSE documentation, policies, procedures, and SharePoint systems to ensure accuracy and accessibility
Coordinate safety communications, including Safety Shares, toolbox talks, campaigns, and engagement initiatives
Administer WHS programs such as LiveSafe and support Safety Week and other injury prevention initiatives
Support risk management activities including risk assessments, hazard identification, incident investigations, and maintaining the WHS Risk Register
Monitor injury notifications and collaborate with workers' compensation and leadership to improve injury management outcomes
Facilitate HSE meetings, deliver training, and provide subject matter support on the HSE Management System
Support compliance with the GPC Safety Management System, emergency programs, audits, and legislative requirements
Manage WHS communications, mailbox enquiries, and coordination of safety materials across sites
Requirements
Post-secondary qualifications in Work Health and Safety, with WHS professional accreditation (or working towards accreditation) preferred
Minimum 2 years' experience in a safety-focused role within a multi-site environment
Proven experience maintaining and improving HSE Management Systems and implementing WHS initiatives
Strong experience in incident reporting and investigations (ICAM methodology preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including developing risk assessments, toolbox talks, and safety documentation
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders
Commercially minded with the ability to influence, problem-solve, and drive practical outcomes
High work standards with strong attention to detail and a results-oriented approach
