At ALH, providing a safer gaming environment isn't just a policy it’s a core part of our venue experience and our social license to operate. We are looking for a Safer Gaming Specialist (Regulatory Affairs) to act as a critical bridge between our operations and state regulators. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for gaming investigations, ensuring ALH responds with professionalism, accuracy, and integrity. You will stay ahead of the curve by monitoring legislative changes and translating complex regulatory shifts into actionable insights for our wider team.
Job Responsibility:
Regulator Liaison & Investigations: Manage the end-to-end process for regulator investigation requests. You will gather evidence, collaborate with internal teams, and ensure all responses are timely and consistent
Compliance & Self-Reporting: Identify and notify regulators of any breaches in line with our internal framework, maintaining meticulous records of all correspondence and ongoing cases
Policy & Trend Analysis: Monitor national and state gaming policy developments. You’ll perform trend analysis on investigations to identify risks and drive continuous process improvements across the business
Internal Advocacy: Work closely with Gaming Compliance Specialists and the Legal Team to mitigate risks and ensure our venues are supported in meeting their regulatory obligations
Program Advancement: Help evolve our safer gaming practices, tools, and partnerships to ensure ALH remains a leader in responsible gambling
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in similar role
Experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment
Demonstrated ability to influence, establish and maintain strong relationships with operational stakeholders
Understanding of responsible gaming / responsible gambling practices
Experience in complaints/investigations preferably in gaming/gambling
Nice to have:
Previous work in gaming, hospitality or casino environments
Experience in (land based or online) in gaming industry or in an industry in a highly regulatory setting
Experience in management of compliance obligation maintenance
