Job Description

This is a Personal Assistant style position supporting the Designated Safeguarding & SENCo Lead. You'll coordinate safeguarding activity, meetings, and administration to ensure processes run efficiently and professionally.

Job Responsibility

  • Providing high-level PA and administrative support
  • Managing diaries, coordinating meetings, and prioritising workload
  • Taking accurate minutes and tracking actions from safeguarding and SEN meetings
  • Supporting the management of safeguarding referrals and allegations
  • Liaising with local authorities and external agencies
  • Acting as CPOMS lead and maintaining accurate safeguarding records
  • Supporting SEN triage, screening, and interventions for Junior Soldiers
  • Producing reports, maintaining documentation, and handling sensitive information confidentially
  • Supporting data collection and analysis relating to safeguarding and SEN trends

Requirements

  • Experience in a PA, Executive Assistant, or senior administrative role
  • Strong diary management, coordination, and minute-taking skills
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Excellent organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and external agencies
  • A calm, professional approach within a safeguarding or welfare environment
  • Safeguarding knowledge and/or experience supporting safeguarding processes
  • Ability to communicate sensitively with young people, staff, and partners
