Part of the Safeguarding team, the Safeguarding Manager is a dynamic and collaborative role at Migrant Help. You will review and evaluate existing processes, provide training, leadership and expert professional advice on all aspects of safeguarding This role will also contribute to the overall success of our Organisation in accordance with Migrant Helps visions, values and objectives.
Job Responsibility:
Working closely with the Designated Safeguarding Leads and Officers across all contracts
Working collaboratively to continually strengthen the approach to safeguarding
Developing and maintaining safeguarding strategies and quality standards
Working with the Designated Safeguarding Leads to audit safeguarding practice
Developing and improving appropriate escalation processes
Working with key external stakeholders
Supporting staff on safeguarding matters, offering clear direction and advice
Supporting the charity with HR safeguarding and safer recruitment practices
Requirements:
Demonstrable track record and expertise in implementing and auditing safeguarding policies and working practices
Experience of confidentiality and appropriately escalating safeguarding incidents
Ability to take an objective and independent lead with strategic partners when dealing with safeguarding issues
Ability to work under pressure with conflicting priorities, meeting tight deadlines
Ability to maintain positive working relationships at varying levels of seniority
