Job Description:

Assists with technical support tasks and ensures optimal operation of pharmacy equipment; coordinates pharmacy deliveries; analyzes RX trends and anticipates consumer demand.

Job Responsibility:

Assists with routine technical support tasks for the RX Equipment area
communicates deviations from expected outcomes to internal teams
collects feedback from the warehouse department to ensure technical support function is responsive to business needs
documents the receipt of control drugs and cooler drugs and verifies number of cartons and pallets in each delivery
assists pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with equipment operations, coordinates pharmacy deliveries and orders to ensure timely service
inspects final RX product for appropriateness and uniformity
verifies product labels for accuracy to ensure ready for delivery
maintains specialized pharmacy equipment, such as automated dispensing devices and unit dosing machines
collects information on RX trends and analyzes RX order frequency in order to anticipate consumer demand
monitors pharmacy equipment and fills dispensing units
calibrates to ensure maximum functionality
operates automated RX equipment to assist pharmacists with compounding, repackaging, and cart filling

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required
0-1 year prior relevant work experience
basic awareness of problem solving and decision making skills
