Job Description:

A top-performing secondary school in Islington seeks Russell Group graduates with a passion for education. Join as a Teaching Assistant, gain classroom experience, and receive training and mentoring in preparation for teacher training. This full-time role starts in September 2025 and offers a supportive pathway to a teaching career.

Job Responsibility:

Join a subject-specialist department (English, Maths, Science, Humanities, MFL, etc.)
Support pupils across KS3-KS4, with some exposure to KS5
Deliver small-group interventions, support in-class teaching, and help plan lessons
Receive ongoing CPD, training, and mentoring from experienced educators
Contribute to a culture of academic excellence and high expectations

Requirements:

2:1 or First-Class Degree from a Russell Group university
Strong academic background (AAA at A-Level or equivalent)
Subject knowledge, curiosity, and confidence
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude
Clear ambition to pursue a career in teaching
