Based at our Thornton Heath Garage, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a fleet of London buses to ensure they stay in tip-top shape and keep our passengers safe.

Job Responsibility:

  • Performing servicing, inspections, and repairs to the highest standards (DVSA and Arriva standards exceed the norm!)
  • Carrying out diagnostic fault finding and contributing to the continuous improvement of vehicle reliability
  • Preparing buses for MOTs and supporting preventative maintenance campaigns to keep our fleet in peak condition
  • Working a 7/3/7/4 rotating shift pattern, including both early and late shifts

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 or higher in PSV, HGV maintenance (or an equivalent international qualification)
  • Alternatively, at least 5 years’ hands-on experience in the repair and maintenance of PSV/HGV
  • A full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 penalty points)
  • A valid PCV/PSV licence
  • The ability to pass a PCV pre-employment medical
