Job Description

AYS Runner position at W Riyadh - KAFD. Runners work across departments to ensure guests and associates have what they need, delivering items to guest rooms and providing support to various hotel departments including housekeeping, engineering, banquets, restaurants, and front office. They are critical for ensuring smooth operations throughout the entire hotel.

Job Responsibility

  • Moving items from one place to another
  • Building memorable and unique experiences for guests
  • Working across departments to ensure guests and associates have what they need
  • Delivering items directly to guests in their room
  • Providing support to housekeeping, engineering, banquets, restaurants, front office, and other areas
  • Ensuring smooth operations throughout the entire hotel
  • Ensuring safe workplace
  • Following company policies and procedures
  • Maintaining confidentiality
  • Upholding quality standards
  • Maintaining professional uniform, personal appearance, and communications

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • No related work experience
  • No supervisory experience
  • No license or certification required
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended time
  • Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
  • Ability to move up and down stairs and/or service ramps
  • Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats
  • Ability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
