Job Description:

East Coast Concepts is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Runner to join our dynamic team in Liverpool. This role is pivotal to our continued success in delivering exceptional catering and hospitality services. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering food and drink orders promptly from the kitchen to customers or serving staff
  • Assisting chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation and plating tasks when required
  • Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of service stations and dining areas during shifts
  • Clearing tables and returning used crockery, cutlery and glassware to the kitchen
  • Supporting front-of-house staff during busy periods to ensure excellent customer service
  • Adhering to health and safety and hygiene standards at all times
  • Reporting any issues or feedback to supervisors promptly
  • Helping to restock supplies and replenish condiments as needed

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or catering environment is desirable but not essential
  • full training will be provided
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong team player attitude and willingness to assist colleagues
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required
  • Basic understanding of health and safety and food hygiene principles
  • Reliable, punctual and with a positive work ethic
